Involvement with Force Diversity Groups
Humberside Police Diversity Performance Monitoring Group
There are now specific requirements placed on all police forces to conduct ethnicity
monitoring, and to annually publish the results of this monitoring. This Group
was established in February 2007 in order to examine performance in relation
to operational and employment issues by ethnicity data.
The terms of reference for the group are:
- Review on a quarterly basis all diversity data relating to operational and employment issues
- Identify any anomalies
- Take appropriate action to address the anomalies or give a sound explanation for their existence.
