David was born in Hedon, Hull in 1949 and has lived in Humberside all his life.

 

David worked as a financial advisor for 32 years and is a Member, by Diploma, of the Life Insurance Association.

 

David has served as a Councillor for 22 years and joined the Police Authority as an Elected Member on 5 October 2004. His particular area of interest is performance management.

 

David has a life long interest in politics and can play the piano by ear. In his spare time, he enjoys football and cricket and likes to listen to both popular and classical music.  He also enjoys reading, walking, gardening and bird watching.
