Overall responsibility for issues of corporate governance such as Member selection
and appointment; monitoring and handling of complaints; ethical standards and
the Members' Code of Conduct; democratic services including committee meeting
papers; risk management and Freedom of Information.
Paul Wainwright, Performance and Resources Manager
Responsible for providing advice on performance (indicators/targets, policing
plan, best value reviews, external inspections and data quality) and resources
(efficiency plan, activity analysis, learning and development strategy, training
plan and people strategy).
John Mabbett, Consultation and Partnership Manager
Responsibility to ensure that communities have a say in how they are policed.
Also that Police Authority Members are fully informed about issues that matter
to the public in respect of policing and community safety and the Authority engages
fully with it's partners and stakeholders.
