Securing outstanding policing for local people

Performance (What the public ask for)

One of the main statutory responsibilities of the Police Authority is to scrutinise and hold the Force to account on its performance.

The Authority took the strategic view that to do this robustly performance would become an integral part of each of the 3 sub committees and the full Police Authority.

The Sub Committees each have a balanced scorecard which looks at the performance within their terms of reference and flags up any areas of concern.

The full Police Authority receives a report every meeting from the Chief Constable on the Force's current performance level. To view a copy of the latest performance report by the Chief Constable click here.
