BASELINE ASSESSMENT REPORTS

Baseline assessment makes considerable use of self-assessment and grading criteria to produce one of four delivery grades – Excellent, Good, Fair or Poor – across a broad range of policing activities. Baseline assessment is a diagnostic assessment that generates a tailored programme of inspection activity for each force.

AN INSPECTION OF HUMBERSIDE POLICE: PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PROCESSES

This inspection was conducted at the invitation of the Chief Constable, Mr Tim Hollis, QPM, following the 2006 police performance assessment framework (PPAF) results and HMIC baseline scores. The Chief Constable sought objective views on areas for improvement to supplement those identified during the last baseline process in 2006.
