The Police Authority hosts monthly focus groups with different parts of the community. These focus groups are tailored around four themes; the general public, Neighbourhood Watch Groups, victims of crime and diverse communities. The focus groups aim to provide further insight and reasoning to the survey outcomes and also address issues that are difficult to answer in a closed question survey, such as perceptions of crime and safety and trust in the local police. Below are the details of the focus groups we've held so far this year.
The discussions with the public will be analysed to highlight any trends or themes that need to be addressed. The findings will be presented to:
Any anomalies will be communicated to relevant departments within Humberside Police. Individual matters will be passed to the appropriate Neighbourhood Team.
We will keep you informed of any changes and service improvements as a result of your views via the BIG Conversation, the latest news sections of the website and the Police Authority newsletter.
